Paige Lewis’ Return

By | News | No Comments

Not many details are known about Paige Lewis’ whereabouts in the last few weeks. She departed an American airport on an international flight, and then vanished. Several weeks later, she was seen exiting Jessica Tendonin’s private jet at Heathrow. Many questions still are in the air. Where has she been? Is she mentally fit for action? She’s been limping around. Is she physically ready to compete? Are her and Jessica Tendonin suddenly best friends?

Paige Lewis Missing!

By | News | No Comments

SCW has become aware that SCW World Heavyweight Champion, Paige Lewis, is missing. Government agencies of the United States of America and England are working together to locate her. As of this time, the only information that has been confirmed is that Miss Lewis flew out of Heathrow, arrived at Teterboro, and boarded another flight two hours later. It is unclear on what business Miss Lewis was flying into America for, nor where the second flight took her. As it stands, she has been missing for over a week. SCW is making every effort to help out with the investigation and location of Paige Lewis.

It has been asked what will happen to the SCW World Heavyweight Championship. As of this time, Mr. Walker has confirmed that he will not be stripping her of the championship. More information will be revealed as it becomes available.

Priest Returns!

By | News | No Comments

The only man to hold the SCW Alternative Championship twice, and the only person to have actually beaten Jessica Tendonin for the coveted championship…Priest was last seen in SCW towards the end of 2017, having unsuccessfully challenged for the SCW World Heavyweight Championship. After leaving, he was not heard from. Several weeks back, when Rich Anderson, SCW North American Heavyweight Champion, was attacked, nobody could have guessed who it was, and certainly not that it would be one of SCW’s earliest stars, Priest.

Now, Priest has a shot at the SCW North American Heavyweight Championship. What awaits SCW, and Priest, as he makes his in ring return at TLC? Only time can tell as we count down the days to that action packed night in London.

Jacina Suspended

By | News | No Comments

After missing her flight to appear at Overdrive 49, SCW wrestler Jacina has been suspended from Active Competition. Mr. Walker has ordered a wellness evaluation before Jacina can return to active status. As of this writing, requests for comment have gone unanswered by Jacina and her representatives.

Past Meets Present

In a shocking turn of events, former SCW Champion, Brian Kennedy has been named the challenger for the SCW World Heavyweight Championship, currently held by Paige Lewis. Lewis and Kennedy are no strangers to each other. Lewis has bested Kennedy twice already in Singles action, taking him down shortly after losing the championship to his associate, Jessica Tendonin, and then a second time after regaining the championship. Kennedy is the first person to have held the original SCW Championship to be named a challenger for the new world title.

Paige Lewis arrived in SCW when the doors reopened, and in short order, she’d picked up the SCW North American Championship. An impressive feat for the hearing impaired rookie, but she then topped that accolade by defeating Drew Stevenson to become the first ever SCW World Heavyweight Champion. Lewis turned back challenges from Priest and Jacina before finally succumbing to Jessica Tendonin after an 8 month reign. Lewis would regain the championship 77 days later, making her the first two time SCW world champion, and making Tendonin the shortest reigning champion, in SCW history. At Spring Meltdown 2018, Lewis recreated her success of the previous years’ event by leaving as the World Heavyweight Champion, defeating Alzy Hawkshaw in the process.

Brian Kennedy arrived in SCW in 2012, and quickly earn himself a shot at then SCW Champion, Neela Shizeguma. Kennedy was unsuccessful in his first attempt, but when granted a rematch, he managed to take Neela down and become the second SCW Champion. His reign was halted, however, by Brian Brewster, nephew of the legendary Lynn “Wildcat” Brewster. After that, Kennedy was unfocused, and failed in his rematch, and then vanished from SCW. He would return at SCW: Reunion, taking on Jordan Post, though the match ended in a draw.

Now, these two will collide for a third time. The tally is 2-0 in Lewis’ favor. Can Brian Kennedy manage to do what only Jessica Tendonin has done, and stop Paige Lewis? Both have a lot of wind under their sails, with Kennedy coming off a victory against Jonathan Mills, and Lewis having battled and defeated Hall of Hendrickson Inductee, Fury. At TLC, these two will determine the future of the SCW World Heavyweight Championship. This battle is sure to be a showstopper. DO NOT MISS IT!

Single Site, Go Live

So, a history lesson.

I spoke to Star and Jordan, original owners of SCW, about reopening SCW, in late 2016, early 2017. We talked and agreed to give me full control. I successfully got us going again in February of 2017. At the time, I set a goal, that if we lasted a year without crippling issues, I’d build a fully functioned website for us to compliment our forums.

Late last year, the forum used by SCW was forced to convert to Zetaboards. We did so, and worked around things. For a while, we were getting settled with Zetaboards. I believe it was in 2017 when Zathyus was bought by Tapatalk. Now, I was not aware of this at the time. In May of this year, I became aware that conversions to Tapatalk would be happening, and they would be mandatory, and we would not have the option of when to do it. Conversions began in July.

Again, I became aware of this in May, but a timeline of conversions was not given at the time. The impression I took was that it would be quite some time. I’ve seen two feds I’ve been part of be converted in the last week, and it is not pretty, at all. I, however, have been preparing for this day, though it came sooner than I thought.

Still. SCW is ready for this conversion. Back in May, I knew we were leaving our forum. I laid out three options.

    1. 1. Edit this website to post shows, cards, and promos here.
    1. 2. Use Ben Halkum’s script software.
    1. 3. Buy InvisionPower Board/Community.

I went with the first option, as it was the most cost effective. And so, I feel we are ready. There are still a few loose ends floating about, but the main site, hereafter referred to as ‘the site,’ is ready to be used alone. This means cards, results, and promos will all be posted here. The SCW forums, located forum.scwefed.com, will no longer be used. The only real use it has right now is old shows and moves list. A project I am currently testing is getting the moves lists integrated with the profiles here on the site. After that, I will begin posting old shows. With luck, I’ll go back as far as the beginning.

So, welcome to SCW’s official site, and welcome to the future of our brand.

The Wrath of the Desert…

This is unbelievable. They told Terel Walker that he was wasting his time and money trying to sign this superstar. They said it couldn’t be done, and now, it is done. Ladies and gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to be writing this. It is official, it’s all here in black and white, clear as day.

I don’t know how he did it, but…Terel Walker, owner of the SCW, has signed former 450Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, and Hall of Hendrickson inductee…Fury, also known as Veronica Rodriguez! As they say, shit just got real.

Paige Lewis, Emily Desmond, and Jessica Tendonin had all better take notice…there is a new woman on the block.

Welcome to SCW, Miranda Jones!

By | News | No Comments

Miranda Jones is the latest signing for Cleveland, Ohio based Starstruck Championship Wrestling. Very little has been revealed about the young lady. In fact, most SCW employees don’t even know her age. What we know is the following.

  1. One Year Non-Exclusive Contract
  2. Six figure salary, believed to be under $250,000
  3. Guaranteed at least one Main Event Contest, be it for a championship or not.

Stayed tuned for more information about the upcoming debut of this new talent.

New Champion!

At Survival, Paige Lewis was felled for her first defeat by none other than the Dragon, Jessica Tendonin. In the process, Lewis would also lose the coveted SCW World Heavyweight Championship. While it was initially believed that Lewis would wait and seek her rematch after the conclusion between Tendonin and Alzy Hawkshaw, at Overdrive 43, Lewis announced that when SCW went through her hometown of London, she would be activating her rematch for SCW World Heavyweight Championship in a bid to reclaim the championship.

The match was set as a Hell in a Cell by Jessica, and it was all planned out. At the O2 Arena, Lewis made her way to the ring, calm as could be. But when the cell came down and the bell sounded, the SCW audience saw a side of Lewis that they had never seen. Indeed, Lewis’ intent was made clear after only a few minutes. The challenger was looking to injure the champion. Jessica got no offense in, and lost the championship in stunning fashion, and was rushed to a local emergency room, where her condition is still being evaluated.

UPDATE: 3/23/18

Paige Lewis, who is set to take on Brian Kennedy for the second time at Overdrive 45, has been fined $10,000 by SCW Owner Terel Walker, for her actions in the match against Jessica Tendonin. The reasoning for the fine is that Lewis’ intention was purely to injure her fellow superstar, which is a violation of company codes. If Tendonin’s medical costs exceeds what the company covers, she may elect to force Lewis to pay the difference. There was also a rumor of stripping Lewis of the championship, but Mr. Walker has vehemently denied that as a fiction. More to come as it becomes available.

Tendonin v. Lewis II!

By | News | No Comments

We knew it was going to happen, but we didn’t know when. When Jessica Tendonin challenged Paige Lewis for the SCW World Heavyweight Championship at SCW Survival, in an Ironman Match, the pair went through an absolute battle for the right to leave with the championship. Tendonin had already defended the International Championship earlier in the night against Red Dragon, and Lewis was fresh.

Early on, Lewis was gaining a big lead in points over the Dragon. Tendonin managed to turn the tables, however. As the timer ran out, though, the pair were tied. They went into sudden death, and continued to battle. Lewis would put up a great fight, but like many before her, she succumbed to the Paraguayan Imprint. After the end of the match, the pair shook hands.

Now, the time has come. Paige Lewis has decided to activate her rematch when SCW rolls into London at the O2 Arena. Lewis, who won the championship in New Orleans after defeating Drew Stevenson in an Ironman match, is a London native, who now lives in Cambridge. She’s looking to win it back in her hometown. But the big question is…can she do it? Nobody has defeated Jessica Tendonin for a world championship in 7 years. Will Lewis be the first? Find out on March 10th!
